It consists of bronze body construction 1/4 - 2" or FDA approved epoxy coated cast iron 2-1/2 - 3", 2 in-line independent check valves, replaceable check seats with an intermediate relief valve, and ball valve test cocks. Series 009 is ideal for protection of health hazard cross-connections or for containment at the service line entrance.

Watts Water BBFP-S Forged Brass Dual Check Backflow Preventer with Series BBFP is specially made for smaller supply lines and ideally suited for laboratory equipment, processing tanks, sterilizers, dairy equipment and similar applications. It is particularly recommended for boiler feed lines to prevent backflow when supply pressure falls below system pressure. Series BBFP is suitable for use on hot or cold water and can be used under continuous pressure. It features a primary check valve utilizing a rubber disc seating against a mating rubber part to ensure tight closing. A secondary check valve utilizes a rubber disc-to-metal seating.
