Taco boiler feed valves automatically feed water to a system whenever pressure in the system drops below the pressure setting of the valve. The dual control models combine the boiler feed with an in-line pressure relief valve. The built-in check prevents emptying the system if incoming pressure falls. They feature fast fill rates and an exclusive, lockable fast fill lever. Taco boiler feed valves have set the standards for dependable service. Each valve is adjustable from 10 - 25 psi, has a built-in check to prevent the emptying of the system if incoming pressure fails, and the easy to use fast fill lever is lockable.

Reducing valves fill the system to a preset pressure for optimum performance. Combination dual unit valves include pressure reducing valve and relief valve. Both Valves are equipped with an EPDM diaphragm. The diaphragm operated relief valve operates with a low differential between opening and closing pressures. The diaphragm operated pressure reducing valve is equipped with an inlet strainer and built-in low inlet pressure check valve.

Watts Regulators series 174A boiler pressure relief valves are used in hot water heating and domestic supply boiler applications to protect against excessive pressures on all types of hot water heating supply boiler equipment. It consists of a bronze body construction with NPT threaded female inlet and NPT threaded female outlet drain connections, non-metallic disc-to-metal seating, stainless steel spring, and test lever. Series 174A resists corrosive water conditions, sticking and freezing and prevents water and sediment from being trapped in the seat. It is designed for emergency safety relief and shall not be used as an operating control.
