The product is a quaternary-based biocide, formulated in tablet form and enclosed in a plastic housing which in turn is sealed ultrasonically to an absorbent white filter pad. Water is absorbed by the pad and wicked to the tablet, resulting in the immediate, but controlled, release of the powerful biocide. PanPads can be used in any condensate pan arrangements, either horizontally or vertically. Their low profile fits most pan configurations, and they last three months or more. Formulated buffering agents help protect pan against corrosion. When used as part of the Clean Coil Program, equipment is assured of optimum performance at the lowest possible energy cost. Air conditioning and refrigeration evaporator or cooling coils cool the air that is brought across them. In the process, moisture can be removed from the air, resulting in condensate. This condensate is collected in the condensate pan and drained away. Without proper treatment, bacteria can begin to grow in the pan, clogging the drain hole and resulting in overflow. In addition, this bacteria can also cause musty odors as well as respiratory ailments, contributing to an indoor air quality (IAQ) problem. Use of PanPads kills this bacteria, preventing these problems.

No. 85 Algaecide, is a polymeric, cationic biocide that has been developed for controlling the growth of algae, bacteria, and fungi in recirculating water systems such as cooling towers, evaporative condensers, closed cooling water systems and industrial air-washing systems. Algae are microscopic plants that grow rapidly in cooling towers, spray ponds and other recirculating systems exposed to sunlight. These free-floating growths can be carried to the condenser or heat exchanger by the condenser or heat exchanger by the recirculating water where they lodge and act as binders for sludge and suspended matter. In addition, algae can contribute to the formation of slime deposits by providing organic matter necessary for the growth of bacteria. These biological growths restrict water flow, reduce heat transfer efficiency and increase head pressures, all of which result in lower efficiency and increased power and service costs. Treatment of recirculation water with No. 85 Algaecide prevents growths of algae and bacteria from developing to the point where they cause the problems described.

Liquid ice machine cleaner is a 75% phosphoric acid of the highest food-grade quality. It is fast acting yet very safe to use and it does not give off any harsh fumes. Because of its 75% phosphoric acid content, it is the most concentrated ice machine cleaner in the market. It has a specific gravity of 1.63 and weighs 13.6 lb/Gallon. Usage rate is 8 fl oz with threeGallons of water. The number one category of problems troubling an ice machine are water-related and the most frequently is lime scale. As the water is frozen into ice during an ice maker's cycle, the naturally occurring dissolved minerals in the water, some of which can combine to form lime scale, remain behind in the unfrozen recirculating ice water simply because water tries to freeze in its pure state. As the cycle continues and more water is made into ice, the minerals over concentrate and eventually precipitate as a lime scale deposit. As the scale begins to form, it creates a physical obstruction that results in: plugged distribution holes, restricted water flow and eventually the ice maker will hang-up or jam. Ice harvest is reduced and eventually the machine will shut down, requiring service. This sequence of events can affect both cubers and flakers. Some believe that flakers are free of scale problems since all of the water is made into ice. Not true.
