Nu-Calgon 4299-T8 Pump Protector, 10 oz Spray Can, Colorless Foam-in shut down corrosion protection for all types of pumps any pump that is shut down and drained part of the time should be safeguarded with aerosol pump protector. Pumps used in cooling towers, swimming pools and vacation homes, auxiliary pumps, marine and industrial pumps can develop corrosion deposits on the impeller and other close-tolerance areas during shut down, causing the pump to bind. Aerosol pump protector prevents this corrosion and lubricates the pump so that it starts right up every time! pump protector is water soluble and will not cause any foaming problem when the pump is started. If the pump is used for drinking water, flush it thoroughly by running water off a few minutes before placing the pump back in service. Protects seasonally operated pumps against corrosion during shutdowns by"winterizing" them. When corrosion occurs in close-tolerance areas, it can cause the impeller to stick or bind. Protect your clients investment and your reputation! Safe for all types of water pumps and it requires no special rinsing at start-up.
  • Protects against corrosion and ends-pump impeller binding
  • Convenient aerosol package
  • Safe for all types of water pumps
  • One can is enough for most pumps
  • Requires no special rinsing at startup
  • Protects pool pumps throughout the winter
  • This product has been authorized by the USDA for use in federally inspected meat and poultry plants
  • 95% volatile
  • Level 1 heat of combustion
  • 13 cm flame height, 4 - 5 sec flammability duration Foam-in shut down corrosion protection for all types of pumps any pump that is shut down and drained part of the time should be safeguarded with aerosol pump protector. Liquid ice machine cleaner is a 75% phosphoric acid of the highest food-grade quality. It is fast acting yet very safe to use and it does not give off any harsh fumes. Because of its 75% phosphoric acid content, it is the most concentrated ice machine cleaner in the market. It has a specific gravity of 1.63 and weighs 13.6 lb/Gallon. Usage rate is 8 fl-oz with threeGallons of water. The number one category of problems troubling an ice machine are water-related and the most frequently is lime scale. As the water is frozen into ice during an ice maker's cycle, the naturally occurring dissolved minerals in the water, some of which can combine to form lime scale, remain behind in the unfrozen recirculating ice water simply because water tries to freeze in its pure state. As the cycle continues and more water is made into ice, the minerals over concentrate and eventually precipitate as a lime scale deposit. As the scale begins to form, it creates a physical obstruction that results in: plugged distribution holes, restricted water flow and eventually the ice maker will hang-up or jam. Ice harvest is reduced and eventually the machine will shut down, requiring service. This sequence of events can affect both cubers and flakers. Some believe that flakers are free of scale problems since all of the water is made into ice. Not true. Flakers can scale-up as well, jamming the auger and eventually resulting in a broken belt or drive mechanism.

Pan-Treat condensate tablets control odors can prevent overflows by plugged condensate drain lines. They can also be used on humidifiers. Pan-Treat is extremely easy to use, and is safe, non-corrosive, non-toxic and biodegradable. The product is completely soluble in water and it does not form any deposits in the pan or drain. Left untreated, condensate pans can suffer from the build-up of sludge, scum and other accumulations. This build-up can cause odors as well as plugged drains and overflows, which in turn result in water damage. Pan-Treat is formulated with ingredients proven effective in cleaning and preventing these deposits, and its use will eliminate the extra maintenance costs associated with odors, plugged drains and overflows.
  • Controls odors
  • Prevents overflows and water damage caused by plugged drain lines
  • Easy to install tablets completely dissolve, nothing to remove
  • Non-corrosive and non-toxic
  • For use in humidifiers too
  • 200 tablets per jar

Nickel-Safe ice machine cleaner is a specially formulated citric/phosphoric food-grade product for removing scale deposits from ice makers having nickel-plated or tin-plated evaporators. It is acceptable for use in machines made by Manitowoc and other manufacturers using nickel. In fact, it was the industry's first nickel-safe product, introduced in collaboration with Manitowoc. Usage rate should be in accordance with the manufacturers instructions or 16 fl oz with 3 Gallon of system water. Season treat inhibits scale formation by holding the scale forming minerals in solution long enough to be carried away through the bleed off. It also forms a microscopic, thin protective film on metal surfaces to reduce corrosion. Because of 6R Micromet's consistent slow dissolve rate, it achieves a uniform concentration of treatment over a long period of time. When the product is about 2/3 dissolved, which should be in about 6 months of operation with average water temperatures, discard the remaining canister or charge of 6R micromet and add a new charge.
  • A season treat canister will last about 6 months in 75 deg F water
  • Keeps equipment operating at designed capacity
  • Prevents scale caused breakdowns
  • Reduces maintenance and need for acid cleaning
  • Prolongs equipment life
  • Low cost treatment
  • One charge lasts 5 - 6 months

pH-treat is an in-line treatment product for the treatment of the condensate water produced by today's high efficiency furnaces. The condensate produced by these furnaces is acidic and must be neutralized prior to putting to the drain. In fact, some communities are passing regulations banning the discharge of acidic condensate. Introducing pH-Treat, a product to put on the drain line for the purpose of neutralizing the acid nature of the condensate water produced.,
