Taco boiler feed valves automatically feed water to a system whenever pressure in the system drops below the pressure setting of the valve. The dual control models combine the boiler feed with an in-line pressure relief valve. The built-in check prevents emptying the system if incoming pressure falls. They feature fast fill rates and an exclusive, lockable fast fill lever. Each valve is adjustable from10 to 25 psi, has a built-in check to prevent the emptying of the system if incoming pressure fails, and the easy to use fast fill lever is lockable.

It consists of a bronze body construction with NPT threaded female inlet and NPT threaded female outlet drain connections, non-metallic disc-to-metal seating, stainless steel spring, and test lever. Series 174A resists corrosive water conditions, sticking and freezing and prevents water and sediment from being trapped in the seat. It is designed for emergency safety relief and shall not be used as an operating control.
