With Ge's SmartShield Safety System your system monitors the surrounding air and automatically shuts off the unit if abnormal temperatures are detected. Out with the old and in with the new - GE's water heaters are easy to install using standard water and gas connections and are probably more efficient in the long run than your old water heater. The unit also monitors and reports on the system status with LED status indicator light.
