Watts Regulators series SL100xL, L100xL, LL100xL and LLL100xL extended shank temperature and pressure relief valves are used in water heater and hot water storage tank applications to provide automatic temperature and pressure protection to hot water supply tanks and hot water heaters up to 105000 BTU. They feature an extended shank for installation on water heaters with extra thick insulation as well as a bronze body with NPT male inlet and NPT female outlet connections, unique thermostat with special thermo-bonded coating, and a test lever. The combined 2-in-1 Temperature and Pressure relief valve provides the least expensive and proven means for protection against both excessive temperature and pressure emergency conditions.

Watts Regulators series LFWCV, LFWCVS lead free brass swing check valves are used to prevent reverse fluid flow in water and steam applications. This series features metal-to-metal seal, either threaded NPT or solder end connections and a lead free brass body. Models LFWCV, and LFWCVS are available in sizes 1/2 - 1". Series LFWCV, LFWCVS has metal-to-metal seating and provides low pressure drop and automatic closure when fluid flow is stopped.

Watts Regulators series LFN36 lead free water service Vacuum relief valves are used in water heater/tank applications to automatically allow air to enter into the piping system to prevent Vacuum conditions that could siphon the water from the system and damage water heater/tank equipment. It consists of a lead free brass body construction with NPT male inlet connection, and a protective cap. Series LFN36 has a low profile design, is tested and rated to ANSI Z21.22, and is CSA certified. It is suitable for low pressure steam and water service, and is ideal for use in domestic water heaters and supply tanks, table top heaters, jacketed steam kettles, unit heaters, low pressure steam systems, and steam coil heaters.

Series PLT potable water expansion tanks are designed to absorb the increased volume of water created by thermal expansion and to maintain balanced pressure throughout the potable water supply system. Series PLT tanks feature a pre-pressurized steel tank with an expansion membrane that prevents contact of the water with the air in the tank. This prevents loss of air to the water and ensures long and trouble-free life for the system. These tanks may be used with all types of Direct Fired Hot Water Heaters (gas, oil or electric) and hot water storage tanks.

Heated water expands, and in a domestic hot water system, the system may be closed when the potable water system is isolated from the public water supply by a one-way valve such as pressure reducing valve, backflow preventer or check valve
