E-Lite is injection molded from polypropylene, resulting in a pad that is lightweight, but not too light. The UltraLite equipment pads are composed of type I expanded polystyrene foam (EPS) having a nominal 1 lbs/cu-feet (16 kg/m3) density. The pads are molded in a form in which a cement slurry and polypropylene ber mat are bonded to five sides of the EPS foam. The pad is offered in both a 2" (51mm) or 3" (76mm) thickness. The composite coating is approximately 7/32" (5.6mm) to 1/4" (6.4mm) thick on the pad surface. The products are available in various sizes as indicated in Package Metrics.
