Streamline® PRS Copper Press Fittings are for use in plumbing or mechanical applications. Available sizes ranging from 1/2 to 4 in diameter. Product is designed to join ASTM B88 (Types K, L, M) hard-drawn copper tube (1/2" to 4") and soft copper tube (1/2" to 1-1/4).

Integral leak detection feature helps identify unpressed connections prior to putting the system in operation.

Streamline® PRS Copper Press Fittings mechanical press fittings are compatible with most common pressing tools and jaws.

Components in a Streamline® PRS Copper Press Fittings are: UNS C12200 Copper / C69300 low-lead brass for the body, EPDM o-ring, silicone o-ring lubrication, and stainless steel grip ring with a nylon spacer (2-1/2-4 only). KEY SPECIFICATIONS:

Streamline® PRS Copper Press Fittings shall conform to material requirements of ASME B16.22, ASME B16.51, or ASME B16.18. Performance criteria of Streamline® PRS Copper Press Fittings shall conform to IAPMO PS-117 or ASME B16.51. INSTALLATION:

Available sizes ranging from 3/8 to 2-5/8 in outside diameter for continuous 130 BAR / 1885 PSI pressure ratings at 120°C / 250°F. MATERIAL: Streamline® XHP Copper-Iron Fittings shall be made from material in compliance with UNS C19400 grade of copper alloy. KEY SPECIFICATIONS: Streamline® XHP Copper-Iron Fittings are third party listed by UL for continuous operating pressure of 130 BAR / 1885 PSI at a continuous operating temperature of 120°C / 250°F. Streamline® XHP Fittings meet the dimensional requirements of ASME B16.22 or ASME B16.50. INSTALLATION:

Compared to conventional pure

copper Cu-DHP (99.9% Cu; UNS C12200), Streamline® XHP material is a CuFe2P alloy (2.1-2.6% iron; UNS C19400).

This materials wettability is comparable to that of Cu-DHP.

Streamline® XHP Fittings are not subject to any restrictions for the selection of brazing alloy. Commonly used brazing filler metal types such as BCup Alloy (may contain 0% - 30% Silver  Ag) or Bag Alloy (may contain anywhere between 24% and 93% Silver  Ag) can be used. The brazing alloy chosen must be clarified with the brazing alloy supplier for each specific application. The selection of brazing alloy may depend on a few factors: applicable codes, OEM specifications, vibration, and operating temperatures. SPECIFICATION LANGUAGE:

Copper-Iron Tube shall conform to the requirements of ASTM B1018. Copper-Iron Fittings shall conform to the dimensional requirements of ASME B16.22 and ASME B16.50.
